How to hold the frisbee right
7:46 AM
- Get a Frisbee. Any kind will do.
- Point your shoulder towards your target. If you're right-handed, point with your right shoulder, if you're left-handed, point with your left shoulder.

- Use the hand you write with. Put your middle, ring, and pinky finger on the inside rim. Put your index finger on the area where the Frisbee begins to curve. Put your thumb comfortably on the top. This is the holding position.
- Wind your arm in and then wind out. Let go right before your arm is fully extended. It helps if you pretend you're balancing a glass of water on it.
- Catch the Frisbee. Clap your hands just as the Frisbee flies in between them. If the Frisbee is too high, then you might need to catch it with one hand. Back up to try to make the Frisbee level to your body if it is too high to catch with two hands.
- Try some of the Frisbee tricks. They are listed under "Tips".
Tips
- If you are playing Ultimate Frisbee, make sure you look behind you before backing up to catch the Frisbee. Some tricks you can do with a Frisbee are:
- Throwing a forehand: You can throw a Frisbee by facing your target, putting your index and middle finger in the inside rim of it and flicking it off your wrist towards your target.
- Skipping the disk: Throw the Frisbee regularly, but lower your elbow as you're throwing the Frisbee and aim towards the ground. The Frisbee should skip on the ground and back up to your target.

- Under the leg forehand: All you have to do is point your back toward your target, put your leg up, and throw it forehand.
- 90-Degree turn: This is a hard one. Throw the Frisbee backhanded vertically. Try to point it to the right if you're right-handed, and left if you're left-handed. The Frisbee should turn to its regular position in the air

- Hammer: Hold the Frisbee in a forehand grip. Lift your arm and make a right angle with your elbow so your upper arm is parallel to the ground and your lower arm is perpendicular. Tilt your lower arm over your head so the Frisbee is at a 45 degree angle, flat side down. Reach back and throw. It will start out angled, and then flatten out and fly upside down (flatside down). Note: the shorter the throw, the more angled the Frisbee should start out.

My goals in frisbee
7:51 PM
Firstly I want to practice my back and fore hand throws, I need to perfect it as soon as possible. Frisbee is a sport that required a lot of stamina so we need to train our physical very hard. In the game, you need to defence and offence at the same time. As for me, I feel that NYP Ultimate Frisbee really make the team bonding. Recently, they just organized a party for the juniors to allow them to know each other well. I think that it's good to have such party. I have never regret joining the NYP Ultimate Frisbee. Our coach, Benjamin, make the team very strong and united which make a lot of clubs envy of it.
Let me tell you more about our training. For training, I need to bring a 1.5 litres of water bottles, dark T-shirt and White T-shirt. We need to drink alot of water as the weather will be extremely hot.For training at field, I will wear soccer boots to prevent me from falling and also allow you to move faster on the field.
Our coach set up a club called Disc Knight in Singapore which was quite well-known by people who love Frisbee.
A tip for you guys!
When you catching the disc, you need to use the pancake catch so that you will not hurt yourself if the disc was too fast. The picture below will teach you how!

Have you seen a person doing Lay Out? Lay Out is really cool!
Flying toward the disc and catch it.
COOL RIGHT?
